Our client is a respected and growing accountancy practice with a strong reputation across the region. Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely submission of financial statements and tax returns.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and acting as a trusted adviser.
- Prepare financial statements and year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, charities and limited companies.
- Manage and execute audits for Partner sign-off, focusing on corporate governance, internal controls, and financial accuracy.
- Oversee audit review, reporting, working papers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Organise workflow within the team, allocate assignments, and monitor resourcing requirements.
- Review work undertaken by junior staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Ensure work is delivered within budget and deadlines.
- Support the development and training of junior staff.
- Prepare schedules for complex VAT and tax returns and assist with advisory matters.
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 3 years’ practice experience.
- Strong audit and accounts technical knowledge.
- Proven experience supervising, managing, and developing a team.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build long-term professional relationships.
- Confident, resilient, and adaptable, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- IT literate with solid working knowledge of accounting software.
