GCSE Maths Tutor with SEMH Experience

Make a Real Impact as a Maths Tutor.

 

Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students with SEN or SEHM needs? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised, 1:1 support in Maths for GCSE students. These in-person sessions in Luton offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

 

  • This job is in person in Luton
  • Day(s): Monday – Friday
  • Hour(s): 1 hour per day / 5 hours per week
  • Time(s): Anytime between 8:00am – 11:00am
  • Subject and Level: GCSE level Maths
  • Start date: Immediate
  • Contract length: 10 weeks
  • Rate of pay: £30 p/h

What You’ll Do

  • Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level.
  • Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide targeted support for students with SEMH needs.
  • Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you’re providing subject tuition in.
  • Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager.
