Senior Field Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security & Data Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience installing and commissioning electronic security and structured cabling systems. You’ll take ownership of taking project install from start to finish, manage first-fix subcontractors or trainees, and deliver work to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Installation, servicing, and commissioning of CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, Intercom, and Data Cabling systems

Oversee and support assistant engineers or subcontractors during project delivery

Ensure all installations comply with relevant standards and customer specifications

Conduct site surveys, produce as-fitted documentation, and liaise with clients professionally, including training on the systems

Work autonomously or as part of a wider project team

Provide technical input for ongoing system improvements and learn new technologies
