An Introduction to Customer Service

This free* short introductory course is delivered face to face at our centre in Arndale House, Luton. It is suitable for anyone who feels that they would like to work in a customer focused environment, be it at an airport or for an airline, in a hotel or in a shop – customers are everywhere!

This ten hour course will be delivered over a period of 5 weeks (5 sessions).

Please note that this is not a qualification course, but you will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.

What will I learn?

In this course you will learn about:

  • the importance of providing excellent customer service

  • the impact of poor customer service

  • customer types, needs and expectations

  • skills, including communication, needed to provide excellent customer service

  • employment opportunities and next steps

There are no specific entry requirements to join this course, other than a basic level of English (minimum requirement is that you should be working at ESOL Entry level 3).
